If you are competing in or training for a triathlon, the most important piece of kit that you will ever buy is shoes. Triathlete’s shoes have to be wide enough to slip damp feet into after the swim, able to clip into cleats for cycling, and then remain comfortable and secure enough for the run. These Shimano TR31 triathlon shoes are designed for entry level triathletes but are good enough quality for just about any enthusiast.

Features
These Shimano TR31 triathlon shoes are made from a seamless lining, soft to the touch which allows triathletes to ditch their socks and go barefoot without the worry of the shoes chafing against skin. The material is also very quick drying, so after the first event, athletes will not be riding with two boats on the ends of their legs.
There is a single reverse-closure strap on the shoes which allows riders to adjust the shoes as they go, and has been specifically designed to avoid tangling with the chain during the transition. Support is provided in the form of cuttable Velcro hook and loop straps which do not apply any unnecessary pressure to the top of the foot.
Quality

Disadvantages

This shoe is extremely light and the rubber heal helps to prevent damage to the shoe. I have purchased many cycling shoes in my lifetime and have never had a pair as comfortable as these ones. They are soft and the mesh panels allow for ventilation and your feet don’t sweet.
These are the first cycling shoes that I have owned. I am really pleased with my purchase. Not to mention that they are really affordable. They seem really durable and should last a long time. The only draw back of these cycling shoes is that they are white and show dirt easily.
